The kind of piece you might call a knockabout. A damn good one, mind you, not some grubby old sweatshirt that you can only justify keeping if you’re the kind of guy who still changes his own oil. Of course, we weren’t about to settle for generic fleece — the kind that pills. Ours comes from Pontetorto in Italy because we knew the Italians wouldn’t settle for crummy fleece either. Smooth and lightweight, it feels high-end and makes this pullover a fine choice as a top layer when there is a chill but not blistering cold. Soft cotton canvas trim on the collar, zipper placket and sleeve pocket. Imported.
