Nothing better than a great sweatshirt to break the chill on a summer night. And no, I’m not talking about one with ‘Myrtle Beach’ sprawled across the front, or one with the name of an overpaid football player on the back. We went with a bit more dignified version. Ours was born in Florence where we found a great double-sided linen knit from an Italian mill. We gave it a raglan sleeve and perfectly comfortable fit. The bottom hem is not ribbed or confining, and the contrast elbow patches and neckline add subtle detail. The natural cooling properties and lightness of the fabric separate it even further from the one you have from your alma mater. Imported.
