Here’s a sweater that’s incredibly soft without making a man feel that way. Now that, for sure, is progress. Crafted by the knitters of Inis Meáin of exquisite, finely spun Baby Alpaca wool from Peru, the extraordinary softness is balanced by the honest, hardworking crew neck design. Made of two different colored plaited yarns, which allows the flat knit to show a topside color, against the reverse side purl stitch. A knitting feat that strikes a rare balance between rugged and fine. An Irish fisherman, centuries ago, would have appreciated the quality of this sweater if he had one to wear while patiently repairing his nets — at least as much as you’ll appreciate it as you’re patiently waiting for your non-fat latté.
