Theirs was called the Updated Alpha because it combined the best aspects of military field pieces from around the globe. Small wonder it was so popular with men of the world. Our version advances it just a bit further, using American deerskin and improving on the W&G design in subtle ways. Cut to create a silhouette that emphasizes the shoulders, it also has a drawstring to cinch the waist. A zippered-in nylon hood stows neatly until you really need it while a sweater pocket on the back is surprisingly useful. The inside is lined with wool flannel and smooth Bemberg™ so it’s easy to slip on and off. Finished with our signature horn buttons Made in USA. Deerskin.
