We started by using waxwear cotton, with water-resistant qualities infused directly into the fibers, so unlike oiled cotton, waxwear won’t drip or ooze. The coat has a huge front-loading game bag — unzippable for cleaning — that curves around from front to back. So you can store the day’s offerings without being a contortionist. It also has a stand-up collar and a multitude of pockets to stow necessities and detritus — ammunition, spent shells, a couple of Milk-Bones ®. The patch pockets hold a dog collar remote while the lower pockets are supported from the neckline to keep the weight evenly distributed and prevent
