The trouble with most denim shirts is that they’re always such a compromise. You’ve seen them, generic button-downs trying to be something they really aren’t. So when your wife brings one home from the mall, you wind up wearing the sartorial equivalent of an electric fireplace log. Ours actually earns the Western in its name. It has two front flap pockets with snap closures because, dammit, that’s what this kind of shirt is supposed to have. It has ultra suede trim on the cuffs and on the collar for the same reason. And in our own twist, it’s crafted of 100% cotton indigo twill that’s both enduring and soft. Imported. Indigo. Orig. $198
