Just a whisper of the word “seersucker” and you might envision yourself in a baby blue number, complete with bow tie and straw hat, heading off to sing tenor in a barbershop quartet. Good news. This is not that seersucker. Originally an Indian weave, English colonials appreciated the light and airy feel of the fabric whilst globetrotting. We think you’ll appreciate being able to pull this shirt out of your closet for all kinds of wildly divergent occasions — an upscale backyard gathering, an afternoon in search of striped bass, a gallery opening. Yes, it really is that versatile. What’s more, the texture of this seersucker actually improves with each washing. (When it arrives, the finish will appear somewhat flat. After you wear it and wash it a few times, the shirt will take on the light, airy and slightly puckered look that is reflected in the photo.) Tabs that permit you to roll up your sleeves in a way that is functional and not at all jaunty. 100% cotton. Real corozo buttons. Standard sport shirt fit. Hanger hook and box pleat on back. Made in Portugal. Blue (M, L and XXL), orange (M - XXL), olive (M - XL), Gold (M - XXL).
Size M-XXL.
Originally $168.
