This is a remarkably rugged Irish linen and we feel you can’t have too much of a good thing. Not designed to be a pretty shirt. Of course, Steve McQueen wasn’t considered pretty either. First worn by military men who found they still favored it long after their tours were complete. A good shirt in all kinds of weather as linen keeps moisture away from the body without becoming soggy like run-of-the-mill cotton. Working epaulets can be unbuttoned to hold one’s binocular strap. Military cut. Box-pleat pockets. Two-button cuffs. Imported. Wheat, green.
