This isn’t a hat that you’ll fuss about — no getting it blocked or steamed or stored in a proper box. Not that you can’t, but you won’t — this is a hat made to be worn in woods and field, day after day, with little concern for its general well-being. Made for us by the Montana folks who take the building of hats more than a bit seriously, it is crafted of 100% wool felt, compressed so it can be battered about and still retain its shape. Trimmed with a Dri-Lex^® sweatband that is made of bamboo fibers so it’s incredibly soft and naturally resists bacteria. Which makes this hat not only crushable but probably more comfortable than any you’ve previously owned. Pinched front crease, a brim that is flat and a touch smaller than you find in most hats of this shape. A slightly lower profile crease — that’s how much the top of the hat rises — so it’s more likely to stay on your head when the wind is up. Loden Green with hues of the Earth in the fibers. Made in USA. Brown.
