Corduroy, crafted by twisting fibers so they lay parallel to form that well-recognized pattern, was first produced in Manchester, England, and was soon prized for its durable nature. Little wonder it was often the choice for men of honest labor and military service. These wide wale trousers — cut and sewn in the United States of Italian corduroy — combine the stalwart ways of the fabric with polished tailoring. With their classic flat front and leather pulls on the zippered back pockets, you’ll appreciate them when you want to be casual but jeans just don’t quite cut it. Unfinished hem.
