But there was a time when a man could dress exceedingly well without feeling even the slightest bit precious, when a proper gentleman threw on a tweed so he could bag his dinner and still look reasonable when he strode back into town. This jacket, a true English hunting sport coat, has bi-swing construction with a half-belt in the back and a touch of elastic to allow a full range of movement. With two side vents for a cut that is quintessentially English, it’s crafted in our exclusive high-performance, water-resistant wool tweed. Not just hand made but hand basted with the kind of care typically reserved for bespoke suitings — no soulless machines involved. The notched lapel has a wind tab, the quilted recoil pad and the elbow patches are Spanish suede. Full bellows pockets and our signature horn buttons throughout. Cuffs have working buttons. The cuffs on our Grouse Shooting Jacket are left unfinished, so your tailor can alter the length, buttons and button holes to fit you perfectly.
